Red Flower, Blue Flower

SOLD
I brought my hibiscus inside for the winter, it's covered with buds. here is the first of the "Indoor Season". I realize after looking at the photo of this that the elipse is off on the bottom of the inkwell. Will fix that this afternoon. With daylight savings I'm now recording the artwork in the morning when it's light so the posts will be a day behind.

Chuck, I really like this. Of course red and blue are my favorite colors. The redish shadow is a wonderful addition. Your octopi are great as far as the art part goes. A little on the Halloween (spooky) side to have in MY bathroom. LOL I do like the composition and colors you used in the paintings.

Thanks Jo, I find red hibiscus a very challenging to paint.
..In truth that big pink octopus in the bathroom hides behind the door...heheheh, but then I do have some octopi ceramics and things on a shelf as well. I really allow myself to get goofy and have fun in the work I do for myself.
