Heavy clouds and a minor cold kept me indoors yesterday. I love the colors of mussel shells and I always return to them from time to time. 5x7

Loved the colors. Almost looked like New Zealands on the outside. How about some clams next time?
Thank you Jodi. If you look at the still life gallery on my website you'll see a large painting that I spent several months on called Clams III. I'm still a little burned out on clams, but I do have two buckets of them down in the basement...waiting!
Chuck, you paint mussels as a fall back like I paint apples. :) These are so lovely. Very nice gestures and beautiful colors. Sigh......
