Little House by Seaview School
Another endangered house here in Linwood. This is a second version, the first sold rather promptly and I wanted to get another before it's gone. I did this from my car, parked illegaly. The police drove by but didn't stop...I think they're finally getting to know me!! 5x7

Farther up Patcong Creek, Late Afternoon
SOLD
I realized today that I enjoy painting en plein air much more in colder weather, the light just glows. Here's to another year of exploring and learning landscape and architectural painting! I did this same view last year almost to the day: Chuck Law's Art Pages: Patcong Creek"> Happy Thanks Giving to all you State-Side readers!

Big Bay Beach Scene 1979
Here is my original sketch of the beach near 12th view in Willoughby. If you are interested in learning more about Willoughby & the Ocean View area of Norfolk I highly recommend rkpuma's Ocean View Nickel Tour
Willoughby Spit
This 9x12 painting is done from a sketch I did of the Big Bay ( Chesapeake )side of Willoughby Spit back in the late 70s. Willoughby is part of the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area where I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Old Train Station: Sunday Morning
I like this little old train station on the bike path in Linwood. The bike path is now where the tracks used to be. In actuality the real train station was further up around All Wars Memorial Park. ( where the sycamores from the previous post stand ) This building is part of the water company, but it's pretty none-the-less. I've painted it before and will probably paint it again! Another beautiful fall day! 8x10
