Grey House on Little Feet

A corrected image of the grey house. My Brother-in-Law has loaned me his camera so I can continue posting while mine gets repaired. I apologize to Jo for deleting her comment. I'm still thinking of calling this one Baba Yaga's House

Exhibit Update

Today started a three month exhibit featuring 15 of my food themed "Scatter Paintings". They can be seen in the new lobby ( 2nd floor) of the Atlantic City Medical Center.

Update

Here I am in Cape May at the end of the weekend. That's a second place show ribbon hanging in the back! It was a nice show, I realized ( with some strong urging from my peers )that my prices are still much too low. I'm not yet raising them as high as I might, but I think 2 dollars per sq. inch will be my mid-point guide line for now. My work has really grown since I began painting on a daily basis, now I need to work on my reputation! ( marketing is tough for this introvert )

Rising Tide

SOLD
This scene is the where Poplar Avenue ends in the wetlands. The final bit often gets submerged during high tide. I did not realize it as I was painting, but the road behind me was flooding as well. After a half hour into the painting I turned around to look and saw that a good portion of the quarter mile between me and the mainland was submerged! I thought for sure that my old car was a goner..but it made it through...I washed off the salt water when I got home...and finished the painting. "whew" 8x10
